From September 21 to 27, Medellín brings together innovation, music, urban culture, entertainment, and major exhibitions. Centro de Convenciones Plaza Mayor becomes one of the week's main hubs with Nextech 2026, the Housing Fair, Continental Stars, and Street Fever Colombia, while theaters and cultural venues add concerts and performances to the calendar.
Highlights we'll cover include the first Colombian edition of Street Fever, featuring more than 40 brands and an early Jordan × J Balvin release; the technology-focused Nextech 2026; and a performance by São Paulo Chamber Soloists at the Teatro Metropolitano José Gutiérrez Gómez.
Street Fever Colombia 2026
Street Fever arrives in Colombia for the first time, choosing Medellín for a two-day celebration of sneakers, streetwear, art, and music. The event brings together 43 Colombian and international brands, sneaker customization, art toys, workshops, conversations with creators, live music, and an official after-party. One of its biggest highlights is the early Colombian release of the Air Jordan 4 × J Balvin collaboration, available at the event ahead of its worldwide launch.

Nextech by Colombiatex 2026
Nextech by Colombiatex holds its first edition in Medellín as a new platform connecting the fashion industry with technologies transforming its entire value chain. Around 100 exhibitors showcase artificial intelligence, automation, machinery, software, data analytics, traceability, logistics, and e-commerce solutions, with approximately 5,000 buyers and specialized visitors from more than 20 countries expected to attend. Innovation, sustainability, and knowledge spaces complement the exhibition, making Nextech one of the week's major business and technology events.

São Paulo Chamber Soloists – La Tempo 2026
The São Paulo Chamber Soloists arrive from Brazil as part of Medellín's international La Tempo 2026 season. The ensemble brings together 14 leading string soloists from some of São Paulo's major orchestras and was the only Brazilian ensemble nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2025. Their Medellín program travels from Bach and Villa-Lobos to contemporary Latin American composers including Gabriela Ortiz, Clarice Assad and Astor Piazzolla, combining classical tradition with a vibrant Latin American perspective.

Medellín Housing Fair 2026
The Medellín Housing Fair 2026 returns as one of the region's major real estate events. Over three days, visitors can explore 427 new housing projects and more than 7,000 existing-property options, alongside financial institutions, compensation funds, and specialists offering information on mortgages, financing, and real estate investment. More than 12 specialized talks complement the exhibition, making the fair particularly useful for anyone interested in buying or investing in property across Medellín, the Aburrá Valley, and eastern Antioquia.

Continental Stars 2026
Continental Stars 2026 turns Medellín into a meeting point for competitive cheerleading and dance in Latin America. Over three days, teams and academies perform cheer, dance, and acrobatic routines before judges and spectators at Plaza Mayor Medellín. This year's championship has reached a record 325 confirmed routines, and organizers have announced that the event is completely sold out.
